Payment
Payments can be made by Square, cash or check. Cash only accepted in person. Do not mail cash. Checks must clear before payment is considered paid-in-full. All these policies may not apply to you.
Policies
Your order is considered confirmed only when a 50% booking retainer is received. The retainer is paid to reserve your date and is nonrefundablein the event of a cancellation. Dates are first-come-first-serve and we only do a limited number of cakes per week. However, if you need to change dates or move your event, please call us and we’d be willing to make accommodating arrangements at no charge.
important: All our cakes are prepared in a facility with nuts, dairy and eggs. If you have any particular food allergy, you must notify us well in advance before placing an order.
Final Payment
The final balance is due on the day of the event before or during delivery. If you are going to be busy on the day of the event, please ensure payment before pickup/delivery to avoid overdue charges. Overdue charges are 10% of the total price per day.
Return Items
Please return any stands, plates, brooches or other decors to business name no later than two weeks after your event. A refundable deposit is required to rent items that equate to the cost to replace the item if it is lost/damaged or not returned within two weeks. Requesting modifications in the size, description, flavors, etc. will be accepted until 2 weeks prior to the event date. After that lockout date, we cannot accept any changes.
Delivery
Delivery is a minimum of $40 for cakes within a 10-mile radius of The Rolling Pin. All other deliveries are $3 per mile one way+$40. If you want to pick up your cake, please make arrangements beforehand. Cake handling during pickup 1. Cake must be placed on a flat surface with an anti-skid mat underneath. 2. Cake must be in room temperature between 65 F to 73 F. 3. Please avoid sharp turns while driving with cake. Please know that the business will not be held responsible for any damage during transportation when picked up.
cancellation policy
In the event of cancelation: Orders canceled prior to the 14-day lockout date can be refunded up to 50% of the balance paid. The 50% retainer will not be refunded.

Communication is key, if you are up-front about any issues about your date we will work hard to accommodate you. We understand things can come up that are out of your control.

We promise to do everything in our power to deliver you a cake that exceeds your expectations. We will work with you on every level to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy with your cake. Please note that the color may vary slightly.

In the case of an emergency or an error in your cake delivery, please contact us immediately so we can fix the issue right away! If you are unhappy with your cake for any reason, please call us on the day of your event and explain the situation. In the rare case that you are unhappy with your cake and would like a refund, you must call the day of your event so your cake can be returned.
